Apple Monopoly

Apple is the largest growing technology corporation in the United States. As new products enter the technology world Apple is always in charge and leading the way to new generations. Recently I discovered how broad there monopoly system is when I shattered the screen on my phone. After spending numerous hours trying to figure out how to replace the screen the simplest solution is not fixing the screen and replacing the whole phone. This causes me to have to purchase a new IPhone5 along with a new charger and accessories that belong to the new phone. Apple made a smart decision on their part to update the phone with a new charger to create a fixed market that requires customers to have to buy the new chargers as well. This is pure genius on there part, however it makes retail customers like myself upset having to spend extra money on a charger after purchasing a phone.
